The approach needed to help someone with anxiety varies greatly from person to person. No two cases are the same and each person has their own unique combination of circumstances to navigate through. For most anxiety sufferers though this is like an uphill battle through an un-solveable puzzle. If you’ve ever been close to someone with anxiety it can be heartbreaking to see the effects, and hard to know how to help them.
It can be pretty challenging to care for someone with anxiety or depression. If they are close friend or family member, we feel it as a responsibility to offer our support and help them feel that they are not alone in their battles.
Anxiety can be a difficult condition to understand if you don’t suffer from it. If you have close friends or family members who deal with anxiety, you can be a huge help by being there for them. There are a few simple things you can do that will make a world of a difference when helping somebody harness their nerves.
