“I would recommend mindfulness to anyone, whether life is difficult or easy as I think it would benefit everyone.
I don't think I had any major problems in my life as I felt fine most of the time. I have a busy life, as a lot of people do. Working full time and having a family can be stressful at times.
I felt as though I was coping, although at times I did get anxious and a bit overwhelmed with all the day to day problems that can arise - just normal stuff!
At the end of the course I still have the same work and the same family with all the same stress, but now when a situation arises that I have to deal with, I find that I am looking at it in a different way.
I don't panic as much and I am calmer in difficult situations. I also don't dwell on things so much, I can clear things from my mind.
I love the week we did about letting things go. I tend to go over things again and again, but this has taught me to stop dwelling on things and let them go.”
