Anxiety is a very personal experience. Everybody’s experience of it will be slightly different, and everybody’s avoiding, calming and coping strategies will vary too.
It’s not often we have access to how somebody else sees the world when they navigate the world with an anxious mind. When you hear about the experience of another person it’s common to think “I thought it was just me that thought/behaved that way!”
