Anxiety is a very personal experience. Everybody’s experience of it will be slightly different, and everybody’s avoiding, calming and coping strategies will vary too.
It’s not often we have access to how somebody else sees the world when they navigate the world with an anxious mind. When you hear about the experience of another person it’s common to think “I thought it was just me that thought/behaved that way!”
This link below is to a series of sweet and insightful cartoons drawn by Marzie – a self-declared introvert with anxiety who suffers with panic attacks. We hope Marzie finds a good mindfulness teacher soon to help make her life easier…
Attention anyone with anxiety who spent time in class with their head down doodling in a notebook: This is a comic series for you. It’s called Introvert Doodles and started as a “self-pep talk” by a comic who goes by Marzi.
