“I didn't know what to expect but felt certain that learning to meditate could only be a good thing. I was interested to see what effect it would have on my tendency to be over-reflective.

At the end of the course I find I am able to interrupt negative thoughts, which if not interrupted will lead to negative emotion. I am learning to recognise and interrupt an automatic negative reaction and replace it with a response which has been consciously chosen by me.

I would recommend this course to people who are aware they react automatically to situations and are not happy about it because the course will teach you how to interrupt these reactions and replace them with mindfully chosen responses.

I’ve noticed that Every time I interrupt negative thought patterns I feel the benefit. Also, the coping breathing space is proving a useful tool in stressful situations.

I was surprised how quickly the sessions passed! At the outset two and a half hours sounded a long time, but it never felt a long time.”
